The only musical entry I had on my media garden belonged to Tori Amos, which I had posted on her birthday last month. With this brand new music garden, I shall split it into its components as I decided to discuss the various editions per album.
As I said in my introduction, part 0 for each artist will give a few details about an artist, either as I type it, or give you links to save my poor wrists, hands and valuable time.
Tori has extensitve biographical details readily and easily accessible, for example on WIKI or on her own website so I shall be concice : she was born on August 22, 1963 as Myra Ellen Amos in Newton, North Carolina, USA.
She's been active since 1979 and have released 1 unsuccessful album with a band called Y Kant Tori Read in 1988 and followed by 14 albums from 1992 to 2014 included.
Oddly enough, she has released only 2 live albums, 3 compilations & 5 EP's during this long period.

After this failed attempt, she made a radical change, switching from 1980's pop to an alternative rock, with an omnipresent piano. This time, her 14 studio albums are : (the first hypertexts leads to wiki articles, the second to my blog)

a. Little earthquakes was a VHS tape including music clips and live performances, released in 1992 only in the US and is now out of print
b. Live from New-York, a benefit concert from 1997 and released in 98 on VHS, also only in US and out of print.

AA. A sorta fairytale was a DVD single released in 2002.

3-8. ''the original bootlegs'' which were 6 live albums, each double cd, and available in EU and USA versions, only varying in color, and released from August to December 2005.

10-36. Legs and boots, are 27, download only albums for her 27 shows during the American Doll Posse tour, recorded October 13 to December 12, 2007 and released in MP3 with ''cd-quality'' sound and available via Itunes, Rhapsody, Napster, and other websites.
37. In 2008, Tori 's live in Montreux from 1991 & 92 were released on double cd, dvd and bluray.

Tori doesn't just sing. Her occupations are listed as musician, singer-songwriter, record producer, composer ; she plays her giant piano, which includes an extra octave, and these many more instruments : harpsichord, clavichord, Hammond organ, harmonium, Fender Rhodes, Wurlitzer, Kurzweil, clavinet.
Her musical styles : Alternative rock, baroque pop, art rock, electronica, chamber pop, experimental rock.
