Sylver (part 1) - Chances

 Sylver's first album ''Chances'' was released on 7th of May 2001 and had 13 editions. They all share these songs in common :

 Listening to the album on a CD/DVD or BD player, after 90 seconds silence, the tenth track continues with

I love all of these songs, except ''the Edge of life'', which I systematically skip. Its tempo just doesn't appeal to me.
''Forever in love'' is a sort-off a balad ; it's much slower than the rest of album, full of many fast-paced rhythms so typical of electro dance music. I particularely love ''Skin'', ''Angel on my shoulder'', ''Turn the tide'', and ''Forgiven'', and the 2 remixes.

Last year we used this album as a booster for physical exercices, for a while at least.


Chances is an enhanced CD, containing the videos for Turn the Tide, and Forever in love. I'm not sure if I need to install a specific softare, but on VLC I get a very basic image quality, in a small screen.
I tried to watch on Windows Media Player, and got the sound but no image. I must miss some codecs...

The fullest version for Chances seems to be the Spanish edition, reealsed in 2002 (barcode 8430899303852) which is composed thusly :

Some of these additions have been uploaded to youtube, which allows to to get a glimpse of this now very rare edition and which costs over 300€...

A few other special double cd editions also exist,  and tend to offer the same 10+2 tracks for CD1 and only the first 9 remixes on the second CD. - I have marked the songs which exist only on this Spanish double CD edition with a *

I still have to compare more thouroughly to make sure I'm not missing a different edition.
