After sharing my personal experience (in part 1) with the 3 most influential songs from this album, I now share its

  3. The shadow and me

  9. Yoram

(the links are only for you to discover - once again, I do not promote piracy)

Tracks 1, 3 4, are pop rock, with good rhythms and beats, whilst the majority of this album relies on softer melodies; Yehuda's vocals (where applies) are well suited in both cases.

This album marks the departure of Yaakov Gilaad with whom Yehuda had worked on his previous records.

Yehuda composed all the melodies, as well as the lyrics to track 3.
The other lyrics have been written by several other song writers, some of which are quite known in Israel, others I don't know.

The change is further expanded - topic of WW2 is less clearly stated, and the absence of Greek tunes (which do come back later in his carrer). However, the topics still concern trauma, personal growth, expectations and wishes - with sociopolitical commentary added in tracks 3 & 8.

I enjoy this album, though like many of its period needs a volume boost on the Hifi system to fully enjoy and hear some more gentle notes which would otherwise disappear.

Although I love every single song, track 6's quality isn't fully on par with the rest, but the difference isn't so huge as to reduce a perfect overall score. 10*
