The PSB's
Disco isn't considered a studio album per se, because it's rather a collection
of remixes from their first album, Please.
Disco was
released on 17 November 1986 - 8 months after Please. All it's tracks were
recorded in 1985-86 and are remixes of songs which appeared in Please (4 from
the album, 2 from b-sides).
They are all extended and offer a glimpse to the more
techno-y sounds that the band will release later on (especially Relentless,
which is a bonus CD on one of Very's edition, more on that in due time).
As the
back-cover isn't very easy to read from a JPG, I'll copy the track lists
3. "Opportunities (Let's Make Lots of Money)"
(Ron Dean Miller and Latin Rascals' Version Latina) – 5:34
Listening
to Disco is an uneven experience for me. The rhythms are usually well
extended, but at moments their repetitive nature gets a bit on my nerves.
I tend to skip Opportunities the most, as the last 100 or so seconds are too repetitive. I don't skip it systematically, but often enough to think of it as a weak link, especially in the view that I tend to like most of its other versions.

The patience of listen to West end girls 9 minutes Shep Pettibone's disco mix is also at times absent, making it the second weak link. I do listen to it more often than Opportunities, oddly enough, so I think it's better remixed - presumably.
Overall, this remix album is a mixed bag for me : I don't listen to this cd as often as ... almost any other album. However, it's the best Disco compilation to date (they released 3 more after this one).
Instruments in this album include:
Fairlight, Keyboard, Saxophone, Synthesizer.
