Songs in 7ish minutes

So, this is a special blog post. Today I celebrate 33 months of blogging, and counting all 5 blogs, this is my 700th entry, and so, after running a poll, I follow my wife's suggestion of a post with songs in the 7 minutes bracket.

As a curiosity, I calculated and found that I posted a medium of 21.212121 posts per month, which will remain the medium until 16:27 GMT today.

For this, I want to use songs that are between 6:31 & 7:29, because rounded up or town, their medium would be 7:00 and everything outside of that wouldn't fit.

Most pop songs, especially for the radio, around 3 &half to 4 minutes long, so tracking down those which are longer is a bit of a mission, but you'll see that I found quite a few.
They are pop, rock, instrumental, electronica, from various artists. I cannot be exhaustive here, not any more than those which I found and selected.
There are 28 songs (4X7) in this selection.

I hope you enjoy - the links are usually youtube but also deezer. No piracy is intended, only to help you discover songs that I like and which happen to be in the time bracket that I needed.

I shall share these song in alphabetical order of the main artist, specifying album, song (linked), and duration.

I calculated the total of these 28 songs (even the ones not linked) in their normal versions is 3h15m03s (195'03'') divided by 28, medium is 6'58.86'' so am just over 1 second short of my target medium)

Bryan Adams:
waking up the neighbours:  (Everything I do) I do it for you, is one of my favourite ballads of all times, and of Adams' songs in particular (6:34)

Tori Amos :
Scarlet's walk : I can't see New York (7:16). The song still has to grow on me, as I'm not an ears with feet yet.

the Cure:
Pornography: One Hundred years (6:42)
Disintegration: Pictures of you (7:24)

Erasure's album Erasure has several songs around  this bracket.
Love the way you do so, and Fingers & thumbs (cold summer day) are 6:43 & 6:44 and represent one of the most unique albums in their long career, in as such as album songs are so long, even longer (10+ minutes).

Peter Gabriel:
Up: Darkness (6:51) , one of my fav Gabriel songs on this album that I love quite a bit!

Jam & spoon:
(Single) Find me - original mix (7:29)
Tripomatic fairytales 3003 : Blue moon tidal (6:37)
> though I find their work to be uneven, exploring trance & techno, I do love many tunes, and these to have cool beats.

Jean Michel Jarre :
Equinox IV (around 6:59, depends on versions) is my favorite Equinox piece
C'est la vie (features Natasha Atlas) on album Metamorphosis (7:10)
Zero Gravity, with Tangerine Dream, in his Electronica 1 album (6:46)
> I find that Jarre's music has always been there around for me, even in childhood, with the only album that I knew, Rendez-vous, and over the years, I learned to appreciate more and more the influence he had on the genre, and daring to step out of his comfort zone at times, by inviting vocalists.

Kraftwerk:
Trance-Europe express, I love the titular song (6:36) but my favorite doesn't fit this bracket.
> Kraftwek are also known for their impact and unique music ; I don't tend to like music from the 1970's, but when it comes to them, I do! Some of their songs have interesting social comments, too.

Pet shop boys :
Introspective : I'm not scared (7:25)
Very (further listening edition) : Some speculation (6:35)
>PSB & Erasure are two bands that a friend had introduced me to, and that I love in huge %, though I don't like some of their songs, and the in the case of PSB, the last 3 albums haven't grown on me yet. The two above songs have drama, humour and beats to offer, respectively.

Pink Floyd:
Division Bell : wearing the inside out (6:49)
Dark side of the moon : Time (7:05)
Wish you were here: Welcome to the machine (7:29)
I don't think I need to introduce this band, do I?

Yehuda Poliker:
Dream museum : Dream within a dream  (7:18)
> my favorite singer, sings usually in Hebrew like in this song (you'll have a full review, like some others here), and sometimes in Greek. He blends Greek, pop & rock in unique style.

Schiller :
Future : Forget  (Ft Keta) (7:07) ;  Little earthquakes (7:12)
On  Opus : Desert Empire (7:28) ;
Sun, chill-out edition : Dancing in the dark (7:07) ; Energy (6:46) ; Epic shores (6:51)
>My current fav band, or band of one + musicians. Electronica, pop, new-wave, all of it is here, with beats, vocals and instrumentals.

Howard Shore:
LORT, the two towers soundtrack (complete recordings):
The Heir Of Númenor  (6:52) & The Forests Of Ithilien (6:37)
> Full presentation of LOTR soundtrack, my favorite ever.

U2:
Zooropa: Lemon (6:56)
> my fav song on this album, by famous U2.
